The Elf has returned… from a land far, far away. Welcome to the world of the Elf.
The first Elves awoke some three ages (very roughly 4,300 years) before the beginning of the First Age. They were called Falmari “Those who are of Family Clans”.
They traveled a great journey to hide form man, across Middle Earth and the Great Sea to Aman. It was to the Undying Lands that the White Ship sailed over the sea in September 3021…
The Elf has returned to our mortal world. In 2006 the first Half-Elf was reborn in the shape of a feline. They have returned to the world of men and are quite happy.
They like their new form and bring all their playfulness and wisdom with them. This is the starting of many new Clans, that will be cherished by men. The Elf is truly a Thief of Hearts.
Half-Elf’s traveled back to mankind and are here to bring the Elf’s through by the union of naked felines known as Sphynx. These characters of mixed breeding combine features of
both races to create something unique, the Elf. Indeed, Half-Elf’s can produce young that can look like themselves, coated, or naked like the Sphynx. The naked born then align
themselves with the new species known as the Elf.
The Elf Cat
The Elf is being developed using foundation cats from Sphynx and American Curl breeds. Each of these two breeds have a single trait that makes them distinct from all other breeds. The Elf combines these traits to create a unique look of this cat, that is different from each of the contributing parental foundation breeds. These two traits are independent of each other and when combined pose no harm to the health and well being of the new Elf.
The Elf Foundry Breeders Group are the Officially Approved Breeders by The International Cat Association (TICA), who have chosen to work in a group that work toward the development and betterment of the Elf cat.
The members of this foundry are held to the highest standards of care and ethics for this new trait Sphynx/Elf. This site only features content and photos form the Foundry Group. Please see our links to these officially approved breeders.
Those breeders found while searching for Elf Cats but not listed in our links, either were not a member of, or are NO longer a member in good standing and were removed form the Original Elf Cat Foundry Breeders Group.
There are 3 breeders out there stating that we are using Highlanders as an out cross, THIS IS NOT TRUE, 2 of the three breeders were removed from the Elf Cat Foundry Breeders Group and are trying to discredit myself and our group. Please contact me if you have any questions.
